Duncan Hill, VICE PRESIDENT OF MANAGEMENT
GRADUATE LEADERSHIP COUNCIL –
American University
School of Business – Master of Sustainability Management

Meet Vice President of Management Duncan Hill. In 2020 Duncan moved from his home, in Cape Town, South Africa to work as a sustainable food production researcher for Virginia Tech. Hill now is in his final stretch of his Masters in Sustainability Management at American University and he is passionate about the intersection between the environment and the economy. AU stands out in this space, boasting its sustainability programs the moment one steps on campus, making coming to AU an easy choice.

Some of Duncan’s clubs and interests include AU’s Sustainability Club, AU- Rec Fit, and working closely with Sustainability Professionals.

As an international student, Duncan understands the difficulties of starting in a new country, and at a new school. He realizes how important support structures are for new and existing students. As Vice President of Management for the GLC, Hill would like to ensure that the international graduate student body is included and encouraged to make the most of their time at AU.

Duncan reminds all that he is here to serve and not to hesitate to reach out!
