Danielle Kiminyo

Danielle Kiminyo is a filmmaker and visual storyteller from Palm Beach, Florida, with a background in photography, film production, and community-centered media.

She earned her BFA in Art & Design, with a focus in Photography, from University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design in 2025 and is currently pursuing an MA in Film & Media Production at American University’s School of Communication (SOC), with an expected graduation in 2027.


Passionate about entertainment production and fiction writing, Danielle hopes to build a career creating compelling stories for film and television. Her experience spans creative content, cultural programming, and motion picture production.

She previously served as Vice President of Stamps in Color at Michigan and as Access & Inclusion Director for the SOC Graduate Student Council.

Now serving as President of the SOC GSC, Danielle works with students and University administration to support initiatives and policies that foster an enriching academic and social environment.
