Damiano Trovato

Damiano Trovato is a second-year student of the Global Governance, Politics and Security
program at SIS.

During the summer he has worked as a student consultant for the WAVE Trauma Center
through the Practicum in International Affairs, Peacebuilding in Northern Ireland, evaluating
the effectiveness of their peer support groups via a series of interviews. He has also recently
published several articles with the Fondazione Leonardo journal, on the themes of
sustainability, technological innovation and AI.

Damiano has earned an Undergraduate degree in Global Governance from the University of
Rome Tor Vergata and has taken part to the Overseas study abroad program at Korea
University in Seoul. He has always been active part of university life throughout his academic
career and sees his new role as GLC’s Director of Clubs and Campus Relations as the
opportunity to put his expertise to good use, working to improve graduate students’
experience and to give back to the amazing AU community
