Take a break from studying and come to a free yoga class this Thursday at noon in Mary Graydon 112. All levels welcome, first comers welcome.
About Olga: Here is a little about me (aka the teacher): I took my first yoga class back in my home country of Russia in 2007 during my junior year in college and since then I’ve been practicing different yoga styles both in studios and on my own. I moved to DC area 1.5 years ago, and during that time I have been part of the volunteer team helping to run a DC non-profit yoga studios “Yoga District.” That’s where I took my 200-hour teachers training in the fall of 2015. Yoga has helped me deal with school related stress, be more productive and focused and I’m happy to share my knowledge and experience with fellow AU people.

It is an exciting time to live in DC with this year’s presidential election quickly approaching. The Young Alumni Association and the GLC will be throwing a bi-party-son happy hour at Meridian Pint in Columbia Heights on Feb.1 from 7-10 PM. Bring your Republican and Democrat friends alike, we will provide light appetizers and happy hour specials.
What is the Iowa Caucus you ask? The Iowa Caucus serves as an early indication of which candidates for president might win the nomination of their political party at that party’s national convention, and which ones could drop out for lack of support.
